How does the gravity anomaly of an infinite slab of a constant thickness depend on its depth? - thickness of an ohio drivers licence

I think it has something to do with the Bouguer. It is quite similar to the definition of the Bouguer, British Columbia, depends on the depth, but I would not say I know how a gravity anomaly of an infinite plate of constant thickness of the depth depends! Any help on this would be appreciated! Thank you in advance.

The attraction between two objects varies with distance from the law of gravity.

Suppose you have a body to a depth of 200 meters and meter reading of gravity on the Earth's surface is 16 units.

If you bury the body itself, which is 400 m depth (twice as deep), then the effect of gravity, reduced by a factor of 4.
That is double the depth (2), the power of 2 raised. And 2 ^ 2 = 4. Therefore, the new reading, 16 / 4 = 4 units.

When the body is buried 3-times the original depth of the effect of gravity is at 1 / 9 or the original value. Since 3 ^ 2 = 9.
The new value is 16 / 9 = 1.78
