Fishing Boat Flooring How Would I Attach A Seat/bench To An Old Fiberglass Hulled Fishing Boat?

How would I attach a seat/bench to an old fiberglass hulled fishing boat? - fishing boat flooring

Edson I have an old 16-foot boat was the captain of a fiberglass fishing boat with 2 chairs. I want a place on the boat to take children to add fish, but I'm not sure how to connect the chassis out of wood in connection with (I think to do) fiberglass boat on the ground. Has anyone any ideas, suggestions, etc. I think I could frame a wooden bench on the floor with fiberglass / resin basket, but do not know how. Is there an easier way?

Quite simply, at first the candidate pieces of wood of the hull with fiberglass mat and resin materials. Then use screws made of stainless steel or local action groups to the bank to define the timber. I recommend stainless steel fasteners, as they are, only a test-oxide.

A number of ways that you can do. The one I used to make fiber glass chandeliers. With the old method to heart. Put some 2x4 strips or in places where firring based or hardware-screws, glue available. Then the glass over it and make it look clean. Use a good wood, outdoor or marine grade. Then, press the windows of the wooden equipment.
Old shows good boat or the mother of all maritime links for more information. But it is the basic idea, and I know it works because I have done.

You go right to assume that you need to connect a message to the fiberglass hull in order to support the banking sector, with fiberglass and resin. However ... Context of a well-designed timber can sit firmly enough in the shell on the seat can be used as support ... Well, if you do not speed or impede maneuvers. And laws approved over the safety of the water when they were installed properly and not slip or move around inside the helmet ...
